Scripture: Exodus 3: 13, 14

Verse for Today: And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM! (Exodus 3: 14)

The Beautiful Color of Love:

What color is God? asked the child with skin so fair

Is God white like me, does God have blond hair?

Is God dark like me? asked the child with skin of golden hue.

Is God's hair dark and curly with eyes of black or blue?

I think God's red like me, the Indian boy was heard to say

Who wears a crown of feathers and turns our nights to day.

Each one of us knows God is there in all the colors above.

But be sure of this, one Color God is, the beautiful color of love.

So when your soul goes to heaven-when your earthly life comes to an end,

God will be right there waiting, and hands to will extend.

There will be no colors in heaven, every person will be the same.

You will only be judged by your earthly deeds, not you color or your name.

So when you time comes to go homeward, and you meet God in heaven above.

Then you will see the only color that counts, the beautiful color of love.
