Dear God, Thank You for this time of
meditation. Help us to learn to love ourselves by forgiving rather than judging. AMEN
We remember once again that meditation offers us a time apart from being
busy and distracted. We have an opportunity to connect once again with God’s power within us.
Close your eyes and take a slow, deep
breath in. Exhale slowly and imagine you are now in your favorite place to relax. You are safe. Take another deep cleansing
breath in, and feel your lungs filling with fresh, clean air. As you exhale slowly, all impurities leave you. Feel the fresh
air cleansing each cell of your body with every breath. All tension and tightness are leaving your body. You are secure and
protected, and God is always with you.
I am guided and directed by an inward spirit of God that correctly leads me into paths that are just right
for me. As I relax in the Lord, I know that God sees me free from all limitations or bondage of any kind. I release any resentment
that I may have. I am now willing to heal any frightened aspects of my personality, even any parts that compete or exploit,
so that I can become more energetic and peaceful. I now let go, and allow God to help me and heal me.
Closing Prayer: Dear God, thank You for
Your light that is within each and every one of us. Thank You for courage, grace and new wisdom! AMEN
